I have completed the "Safari" Dresser with the elephant
motif. It turned out very nice and I consider it an art
work rather than a simple "decorated" piece.
I found out that it belonged to Leslie's grandmother
originally.
Mitzi's furniture is now installed and you can see the corner
of her comforter which was the pattern for the design on the
furniture and on the fabric on the bench upholstery.
Our grandaughter, Skye Adams, with Scuffy.
Isn't the Winter forest beautiful! Here is the
reflection of the setting sun on the little pond
on Hunter Road on my way home. This would
make a great painting, wouldn't it?
I am always taking pictures of the Schley County
Courthouse! This, the first day of February,
gave us a beautiful blue sky with passing clouds.
On a personal note - My cousin Jim Moody stopped
by on his way from his house in Tennessee back to
Fort Myers Beach. We hadn't seen each other in
too many years and it was wonderful to have him
here and be together. Besides, it gave me a
reason to bake yeast rolls for supper! Jim's father,
Walter, was my father's older brother and our two
families spent a lot of time together when we were
growing up.
