| JUNE 2011 I was glad for 2010 to be over! I have had two scans and my cancer is nowhere to be found! I celebrated my 68th birthday on June 1 and got the best birthday present possible! It was the birth of our 6th grandchild, Maeleigh Noell Adams, on my birthday! This year I completed another Grassroots Arts Program Grant Mural - inside The Old Gym, in Ellaville. It is a history of the schools in Schley County. I have started painting eagle and flag paintings. Very patriotic! |

| I recently obtained this photo of our entry in the Schley County Sesquicentennial Parade in Ellaville in 2007. We were driving our carriage with Imogene McLendon and Stephen Rainey riding. They are direct descendants of Reuben Morgan Rainey, who, in 1809, bought the land on which Ellaville now stands from the Indians. |
I guess we just didn't have as many dogs as we really needed - so Sadie came to live with us! She is a chocolate Lab and she lives up to the Labrador reputation for being a lovable, smart, and loyal companion. |
