March News Page 2008
Spring has definitely arrived!
I am late with my March NewsPage!
But, I have been busy!
Very, Very Busy ~~~~~
I designed a new sign for the City of Andersonville!  The font I used is the one I
am using now - Algerian - It was fun to paint - The north side of the sign has a
union drummer boy and the south side - you guessed it -
a confederate boy!   I found out recently that my great grandfather, frederick
hayes, fought in the new jersey infantry!
This won't be the last of my work in Andersonville.  I am working on all of their
signage and you will see more!
One of the other jobs that has kept me on my toes is the
Middle Flint Regional 9-1-1 Center,  located here in
Schley County.
I painted a wall mural in the entry foyer showing all of
the seven counties that the Center covers.
The flag mural above is painted on the back wall of
their Conference/Training Room

Ken's mule, Sarah, against the blue of an early Spring sky!
He has been staying with his mother in Winter Haven,
Florida while she is having chemotherapy.
They came up last week between treatments and one day
he rode Sarah and I rode our Percheron mare, Rachael - it
was so much fun.  Stinker, the little dog you see on the
left, went with us.
Here is a dog with a definite purpose in life!

A wonderful
sunset taken from
our front porch.

The jet traffic to
and from Atlanta
adds to this sunrise
on the Hill.
